Going for a job interview? Don't forget the lucky underwear!
British job candidates are highly superstitious, it seems. 6 out of 10 interview candidates rely on lucky underwear to get them through a job interview according to new research by employment law firm Peninsula. But what’s your lucky charm?
The recent research questioned 3024 workers and found that 84% of respondents wear what they believe is, something lucky to get them through a job interview with 6 in 10 of these wearing lucky underwear.
Other good luck charms that candidates take with them to a job interview include jewellery, lucky shoes, four-leaf clovers, key rings and lucky stones.
Indeed, superstition is not limited to clothing and good-luck charms. Seven in ten also admitted to checking their horoscopes on the day of the interview, hoping for a lucky sign from the stars!
